Our research covers wide range of problems connected with broadly understood animal biology and ecology. Our main model species are birds, however our studies embraced also other taxa including mammals, amphibians, insects, spiders and mites. Research topics in our department span from animal distribution and factors determining fitness to natural habitats conservation and functions of integument coloration.
